The History
An enterprising and distinguished gentleman called Camillo Arturo Toninelli, equipped with a horse-driven cart, began to go from town to town, from farmhouse to farmhouse, selling a little of everything: a variety of household articles, articles in galvanized iron, such as basins and fodder buckets; in addition to household goods, he also sold articles in porcelain made in a factory just a few kilometres from the present head office that would later become famous moulding, this time in plastic, the most beautiful dolls in the world: la Furga from Canneto Sull'Oglio (MN).

The cart was later followed by a small shop in Piadena. With the help of his two sons, Carlo and Pietro, he succeeded in consolidating his business and turnover. In 1964 came the first turning point; the two brothers separated and Carlo with his wife Teresa founded the TONINELLI CARLO HOUSEHOLD GOODS, in a new shop, which was larger and better organized, where his 4 sons joined the company one after another. It served a traditional clientele. street sellers, shops, restaurants and catering establishments.

In 1982 came the second major turning point: a new, even larger, shop more technically advanced, where logistics became the strong point. the shops began to become well-known and reduce the amount of space used for storage: they needed to receive goods quickly and offer new articles constantly to keep pace with their competitors. This resulted in the need to have an efficient distributor constantly present and with competitive prices.

1990's
In the 1990's came the introduction of a radio frequency system that allowed operators to dialogue in real time with the central computer, and the construction of a new entirely automated intensive warehouse with a capacity for around 7,000 pallets. The coming of the Internet introduced a new element that brought together clients and agents at the main offices: Intranet, extranet and the Internet made it possible to transmit data in real time.
Today
Today the company is continuously expanding and developing; particular attention is given to an increasingly sophisticated search for a variety of items suitable for high-quality and gift shops. It is with this in mind that brands that have since become famous were established, such as for example, DUCA DI BELLAVISTA, that every year puts out new assortments of porcelain ware, glassware and fantastic creations of all kinds. This brand enabled the company to make a remarkable improvement in the sector of " wedding lists" and giftware in general.
